Oh you are in for a treat... you are about to be using one of the only USA made PETG filaments in the world; Maker Filament brand PETG is here!! Maker Filament PETG is different from other PET filaments you have used in the past because our 3D printer PETG filament is made using a trademarked brand of PETG resin and extrudes perfectly in nearly every 3D printer on the market today; with no jamming, near zero warp-age or shrinkage rates, extra strong finished parts and a low moisture absorption rate compared to the other PETG Filament on the market. Maker Filament PETG is an amazing filament in that it combines the impact strength of an ABS with the easy to print characteristics of PLA and it's crystal clear so you can do some amazing things with it in the finished 3D print!! PETG despite what you might have been told before is crazy susceptible to moisture in it's raw resin form and above all the filaments we make both for ourselves and for contract jobs our PETG resin has to be dried in a resin drying silo able to reach negative 40f. I was surprised when one of the largest brands of USA made 3D printer filament approached us about taking over their PETG extrusion and the first thing they told me was that, "... PETG is great to run cause you don't need to dry it..." - boy were we surprised when we started running it only to find out we had to dry the PETG resin nearly double the time of an ABS or PLA. So, with that said... we take the time to dry our raw resin to negative 40f to insure that the resin will have zero moisture in it once you get it - this process can take from 10 to 16 hours (each batch) to accomplish and needs very expensive machinery and seems to be an overlooked step due to its cost and time. However, it's important to have perfectly dried resin before starting the extrusion process to make 3D printer filament or you'll find the dimensional tolerance isn't so good and the end product when 3D printed will have a high wrapping problem along with low-resolution do to voids in the filament. Maker Filament PETG has been and continues to be used daily here at MakerGeeks HQ for all our 3D printing (we run 10+ 3D printers nearly 24/7 from a variety of manufactures) Maker Filament PETG works great with:  Ultimaker RepRap (Mendel, Huxley, Prusa, Kossel, Rostock) Solidoodle MakerBot (Replicator, Replicator 2, Replicator 2X) FlashForge Wanhao (Duplicator 4, 4X, 4S, 5S, 5S Mini, i3) Leapfrog UP! Plus, Up! Mini and many, many more... basically if it's a 3D Printer; Maker Filament will work in it!! ;)  Give Maker Filament PETG a try today and see why thousands are switching their 3D printer fialment supplier - remember the only place you can find the features of Maker Filament is from genuine Maker Filament PETG right here on MakerGeeks.com!!
